Duties: Senior Manager, Global Citizenship and Sustainability with PepsiCo, Inc. in Purchase, New York. Responsible for supporting the development and documentation of procedures and best practices related to grant making and grant management and sharing with local teams as appropriate. Support the development and implementation of programs with non-profit partners and development agencies in the areas of affordable nutrition, healthy lifestyles, access to safe water and sustainable agriculture. Support the development and implementation of tools/processes that ensure consistent approach to evaluating and measuring progress and reporting grant performance, as well as monitoring performance of grantees and vendors, identifying potential new partnerships and programs, and analyzing non-financial data required to assess progress against PepsiCo’s sustainability goals. Partner to effectively communicate program activities and results. Some travel required (domestic and international travel to monitor grant performance and attend meetings and conferences).

Job Requirements: Bachelor’s degree (US or foreign equivalent) in Sustainability or a closely related field and eight (8) years of experience in the job offered or similar position; or Master’s degree in Sustainability or a closely related field and six (6) years of experience in the job offered or similar position. Prior experience must include three (3) years of the following: providing input to and supporting execution of strategy; gaining input from key constituents across business groups; presenting to and influencing people at all levels, internal and external, on sustainability topics including preparation of materials for meetings with C-Suite executives; partnering to develop in-country programs with local communities, including participating in the negotiation with third party entities inclusive of but not limited to academia, NGOs, and developing-country government agencies; identifying business issues and helping to develop social responsibility and environmental management solutions; and interpreting social-environmental impact assessments and supporting development of written recommendations to protect license to operate. Prior experience must include one (1) year of the following: Fortune 100 reporting and auditing experience including creating, implementing and maintaining non-financial scorecarding processes for external reporting vehicles (DSJI and CSR, among others); developing tools/templates to incorporate Sustainability and/or Citizenship activities within identified key business processes; and supporting the design of monitoring systems to facilitate tracking and reporting of performance against targets.
