As a Hydrologist, you will perform the following duties:
- Originate, plan, and coordinate hydrologic projects and activities at the National Weather Service (NWS) Regional headquarters.
- Track and monitor ongoing and planned applied science projects and research, including supporting the movement toward more advanced hydrologic modeling systems and data analysis (e.g., river forecast systems, extended streamflow prediction systems, and hydrometeorological automated data systems).
- Work closely with Division scientists to identify and investigate opportunities for support of projects across the portfolio of Earth science discipline expertise in the Division.
