Position Overview

Fall 2020 Adjunct Professor teaching Urban Hydrology and Stormwater Management. Course covers distribution and properties of water on the earth. Concept of the hydrologic cycle and basic principles governing water movement in the environment: precipitation, evapotranspiration, infiltration, runoff generation, streamflow and groundwater flow. Engineering methods of design of flood protection, stormwater management and stormwater pollution abatement systems.

Duties and Responsibilities

Lecture, assign and grade homework and administer and grade examinations. Assign final class grades.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Masters Degree preferred or substantial progress toward the terminal degree.

Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Masters Degree or terminal degree in civil, environmental or water resources engineering or a related field. Knowledge of water resources engineering and stormwater design. Experience teaching technical content. Professional engineering registration (PE) preferred.
