ECODIT is seeking applications from highly motivated experts for the USAID Integrated Natural Resource Management (INRM) Activity, a Task Order (TO) under the Strengthening Tenure and Resource Rights II (STARR II) IDIQ. The INRM Activity to serve as a cross-sectoral support mechanism under the Agency’s Environmental and Natural Resource Management (ENRM) Framework. The Activity will support uptake of ENRM across the Agency by providing strategic support to USAID’s Missions, technical offices and other Operating Units on integrated programming through the following thematic areas: (1) Supporting strategic planning based on timely analysis and best available evidence; (2) Supporting and facilitating Mission-led ENRM project and activity design and adaptive management; (3) Testing new approaches in integrated ENRM programming; (4) Supporting monitoring, evaluation and learning of multi-sectoral programs; and (5) Supporting communications and knowledge management.

Candidates will ideally have strong experience working on environmental and natural resource management (NRM) issues in an international development context, particularly those funded by U.S. Government agencies (e.g., USAID, Department of State, Millennium Challenge Corporation).

Qualified candidates will have the following minimum requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree and at least five (5) years of relevant work experience supporting large, complex government/donor funded projects; experience working on USAID projects highly preferred. Advanced academic degrees in relevant fields are highly desirable.
- Demonstrated technical knowledge and expertise in at least one of the following areas:
- biodiversity conservation;
- land-use based climate change mitigation and adaptation;
- land-use planning and development across urban, peri-urban and rural contexts;
- land tenure and property rights;
- economics, including valuation of ecosystem goods and services;
- private sector engagement;
- linkages between environment programming and other development sectors (e.g. food security, public health, democracy and governance, and others);
- research design, as well as quantitative and qualitative evaluation methods;
- designing and implementing monitoring, evaluation and learning (MEL) for integrated development programs, including for the NRM and other development sectors; and
- communications and knowledge management.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, along with superb attention to detail and organizational skills
- Fluency (written and verbal) in English
- Fluency in one or more relevant languages (e.g., French, Spanish) preferred
