About the Opportunity: Graduate Water Resources Engineer (Sydney & Newcastle)
As global supply and demand for water increases, Jacobs delivers projects across the entire water cycle to solve our clients’ most complex water challenges with exceptional service and integrated, sustainable solutions. Market priorities range from global urbanisation, aging/failing infrastructure, safety & reliability of drinking water, climate change and resiliency to regulatory pressure.
An exciting opportunity exists for Graduate Engineers with a focus on water resources engineering to join our Water Engineering team in Sydney or Newcastle in 2021. Jacobs’ Water group delivers complex water infrastructure projects across drinking water, wastewater, recycled water and pumped hydro. This includes desalination, treatment, storage, and transfer engineering, from planning through concept and detailed design to delivery. In this role you will join our diverse team to gain hands-on exposure to engineering planning and design in the water sector as well as multi-disciplinary project delivery.

The successful candidate will:
- Have completed your degree by January 2021 (Mechanical, Civil, Process or Environmental Engineering)
- Be technically inquisitive
- Possess strong leadership skills
- Have the ability to work independently and in a team to learn from another perspective
- Communicate exceptionally well
- Ask questions and challenge the norm
- Be an Australian or New Zealand citizen or an Australian permanent resident
