This posting concerns a short-time assignment of about 40 working days for Welthungerhilfe in a freelance capacity in Irrigation System, located in Zleh town, Gbarzon District, Grand Gedeh County in South-East Liberia.
Objectives and responsibilities of the position
Your most important duties are as follows:
- Topographic Survey (approx. area = 64 hectares)
- Profile and cross-sectioning of canals (approx. length = 8.80 km)
- Parcellary Survey (approx. area = 64 hectares)
Your qualifications will include:
- Proven experience in evaluating development projects,
- Experience with innovative, learning-oriented documentation of evaluation findings and learnings
- Experience with non-governmental organisations, especially Monitoring, Evaluation, Learning and Accountability within NGOs
- Experience in facilitating lessons learnt/learning events
- Very good oral and written communication skills
- Proven language skills: fluent in English
