WaterAid is currently seeking a Global Head of Campaigns to play a vital role in our mission to transform lives in the world’s poorest communities.
Working within the Policy and Campaigns department, the Global Head of Campaigns will develop and implement a dynamic global campaigns vision and strategy to help deliver the influencing ambitions of WaterAid’s Global Strategy. They will lead the delivery of ‘Healthy Start’, our global advocacy priority, and develop new work aimed at reducing inequalities that prevent the poorest and most marginalised people accessing their basic human rights to safe water and sanitation. They will make change happen by developing campaigning strategies to maximise WaterAid’s influence on global policy debates.
WaterAid is seeking an outstanding candidate for this role. To be successful, you will need to demonstrate a proven track record of leading successful international campaigning and advocacy strategies, including through lobbying and influencing institutions and governments and achieving political change. You will also be a strategic, innovative and creative thinker with the ability to deliver tangible results through your leadership. Most importantly, you will have a strong commitment to WaterAid’s values and a working style that reflects these.
