The Yorkshire Dales Rivers Trust is part of the national network of River Trusts and it covers five main rivers – Swale, Ure, Nidd, Wharfe and Ouse. It has grown over the last few years and is well placed to develop further. There is now an opportunity to take over the leadership of the Trust and shape and guide it its further development.
The CEO will assume executive responsibility for all of the work of the Trust including day-to-day management of the organisation, staff and finances. The work will require capacity building, programme management and advocacy.
Our ideal candidate will thrive on the challenge to further develop the charity. They will empathise with the aims of the Trust and be inventive in building successful partnerships and developing a catchment wide approach. They will have leadership experience and excellent skills in financial management, programme management, communications and advocacy.
