Working alongside fellow Hydrogeologists, Hydrologists and Water Resources specialist colleagues, you will provide technical advice and undertake:
• Management of Environment Agency groundwater monitoring strategies
• Groundwater Modelling and Analysis
• Abstraction Licence Strategies and Resources Assessment
• Restoring Sustainable Abstraction – investigations and options appraisal
• Water Framework Directive assessments
• Appraisal of Water Company Resource Management and Drought Plans
• Drought Incident Management
• Groundwater related flooding support and intelligence
• Abstraction Regulation Management
• Planning application consultation
• Mentoring and development of team members
• Working with customers and partners such as water companies, consultants, catchment groups, developers, rivers trusts and Natural England.
• Extensive Hydrogeological experience
• Ability to collate and effectively interpret data to develop and support evidence based decisions
• Communicate across a wide network of audiences, having the ability to turn technical detail into compelling argument for the respective audience
• An in depth understanding of water resources management and regulation, as well as the wider Environment Agency business
