Duties

The Project Officer, Environmental Water, is responsible for provision of professional ecological advice and services to support annual planning, real-time management, reporting and accounting for environmental watering actions for the SA River Murray. The role supports the delivery of monitoring, evaluation and reporting of water for the environment including data processing and management.  The Project Officer will work as part of a team and also individually to assist the successful delivery of water for the environment projects.

Essential Conditions

  • A tertiary qualification in Science, Environmental Management or equivalent is essential.
  • A current class “C” driver’s licence and willingness to drive is essential.

Special Conditions

  • Located in Adelaide
  • A current class “C” driver’s licence and willingness to drive is essential.
  • Some out of hours work may be required.
  • Intrastate travel including overnight absences may be required.
  • May be required to participate in fire management and associated duties

Contract Length

Until 30 September 2020 (may be extended dependant on funding)

Remuneration

PO1 - $64,519 - $78,761 per annum
