Arcadis is currently searching for an Entry-Level Water Resources Engineer to join our world-class firm in Atlanta, GA.

Projects will include but are not limited to:
  • Work on federal, state, municipal and industrial water resources planning studies and detailed design projects.  Projects range from:
    • Resiliency planning and engineering design to address coastal and inland flooding
    • River and reservoir systems management
    • Surface Water availability / water supply studies
    • Watershed and water quality assessments
    • Hydrologic and hydraulic design of hydraulic structures such as dams, levees, bridges, and urban conveyance systems
    • Stream restoration and green infrastructure design
  • Compile, analyze and format geospatial data using ESRI GIS software for use in engineering studies and design
  • Assist in development of hydrologic, water quality and hydraulic models
  • Assist in technical writing which may include preparation of technical reports and business development support
  • Prepare engineering calculations to support design of stream and river channels and hydraulic structures
  • Assist in preparation of design drawings
  • Work on multiple, unique assignments simultaneously
  • Work independently to develop deliverables
  • Work on multiple, unique assignments simultaneously
  • Must adhere to Arcadis quality standards and safety requirements.
Desired Skills/ Attributes
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Microsoft Project
  • Self-motivated, team-oriented and flexible individual possessing the initiative and ability to tackle new projects, challenges, and concepts.
  • Excellent, clear and concise, verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong leadership and client relationship potential skills
Required Qualifications :
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on Water Resources or closely related field
 Preferred Qualifications :
  • Master’s degree preferred
