NCAP seeks a science and policy minded Program Coordinator to lead visioning, development, implementation, and evaluation for projects and campaigns within our regional Healthy Wildlife and Water Program.

Primary project duties include:

  • Leading NCAP’s campaign to protect pollinators from the harms of neonicotinoid pesticides including a campaign focused on consumers and plant nurseries going neonicotinoid-free.
  • Leading our Clean Water for Salmon campaign to protect salmon and steelhead populations from harmful pesticides. Establish/strengthen relationships with Northwest tribes to support policy and practices that protect fish and waterways. Inform growers and other landowners about required river/stream buffers and assist with advancements in alternatives to pesticides used.
  • Providing leadership to formulate and implement strategies and tactics to reform federal and regional policy with the aim of securing stronger regulation of pesticides while reducing risk, stronger protections for wildlife and water, and advancing support for alternatives to pesticides.
  • Engaging partners and communities to demand protections from pesticides and develop long-term solutions.
