We are looking for

The laboratory of GIS and Remote Sensing (GRS) at Wageningen University (WU) is one of the partners in a ESA funded project aiming at developing a Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) on Earth Observation (EO) land applications. This innovative MOOC will comprise high quality educational material such as lecture videos, animations, interactive quizzes and exercises covering basic earth observation theories as well as a large range of case studies dealing with EO over land surfaces. Based on the existing expertise of WU we will contribute significantly to this MOOC. However, we need someone who will assist staff in developing eLearning materials, convert existing materials into eLearning materials and develop interactive exercises for eLearning.

Are you a hardworking person with some knowledge on earth observation and its land applications? Do you have experience in or are interested in creating innovative education materials, animations, videos, etcetera, and do you like to build nice interactive applications? And are you a hardworking teammate willing to join us for successful and innovative education? Then we like to get you onboard!

You will contribute to the development of the mentioned MOOC, but you will also play a role in the communication within the project team, and probably also with the Team Online Education within WU. Finally, if you are interested there will also be possibilities to do actual teaching. You will do this at the greenest and most innovative campus in the Netherlands, and at a university that has been chosen as the “Best University” for the 15th consecutive time.
