You will work with internal and external partners managing, interpreting and mapping data and information across catchments to help develop water environment opportunities. This includes supporting our WFD, Water Quality Monitoring and Bathing Water Programmes in Yorkshire Area.
We work with other teams and national colleagues to shape ways of working, improve and update the catchment evidence base and agree integrated programmes. We are a friendly, challenging and supportive team with a great reputation for delivery.
A self-motivated individual with experience in or an understanding of the water environment and how to interpret, manage, develop and share data and information clearly, accurately and persuasively for a variety of purposes.
Other key requirements for this job include good time management, excellent team working skills, good attention to detail, the ability to deliver against deadlines and excellent computer skills.
Please note some travel to other offices and especially Leeds will be required. You will be expected to travel as part of the job to attend meetings, site visits and meet with partners throughout Yorkshire.
Although not essential, a driving licence would be useful.
