THE POSITION
The Department of Environmental Protection is seeking an organized, professional individual for a Management Technician position in the Bureau of Nonpoint Source Management. DESCRIPTION OF WORK
An employee in this position will report to the Nonpoint Source Management Division in the Bureau of Watershed Restoration and Nonpoint Source Management. The employee provides administrative and technical support for implementation of federal and state grant programs, including Section 319 Nonpoint Source Management, Growing Greener, and Nutrient Management Fund. Duties emphasize preparation of reports, communication of status of multiple federal and state project commitments and expenditures, management of contracts and non-solicitation request agreements, and development of standard operating procedures for fiscal oversight and management. The responsibility of this position include developing and implementing standards for compiling fiscal reports as well as project-specific reports from and for databases, including PracticeKeeper, eFACTS, and the EPA Grants Reporting and Tracking System (GRTS).

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time employment.
- Work hours are 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday – Friday, with 60-minute lunch.
- Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- Three years of advanced clerical or para-professional work which included the collection, recording, compilation, and presentation of office management or program related information; or
- Any equivalent combination of experience and training. An Associate’s Degree may be substituted for two years of required experience.
