FAPESP postdoctoral positions are available at FGV/EAESP in the city of São Paulo (Brazil) to integrate the research team of the project “Understanding Innovative Initiatives for Governing Food, Water and Energy Nexus in Cities” supported by the Belmont Forum ( and JPI Urban Europe ( as part of the Sustainable Urbanisation Global Initiative – SUGI (

The fellowship is for 12 months with a possible extension of another 16 months (28 months in total) according to the norms of the São Paulo Research Foundation – FAPESP (

This project will advance our understanding of innovative FWEN solutions in cities by focusing on Green and Blue Infrastructure (GBI). The objective of the research is to analyze how key elements of food-water-energy governance have improved in 9 cities around the world.

The selected candidate will receive a FAPESP’s Post-Doctoral fellowship in the amount of BRL 7.373,10 monthly and a research contingency fund, equivalent to 15% of the annual value of the fellowship which should be spent in items directly related to the research activity.
