About the Role:

The Project Officer, Environmental Water, is responsible for provision of professional ecological advice and services to support annual planning, real-time management, reporting and accounting for environmental watering actions for the SA River Murray. The role supports the delivery of monitoring, evaluation and reporting of water for the environment including data processing and management.  The Project Officer will work as part of a team and also individually to assist the successful delivery of water for the environment projects.

Contract: Contract for up to 30 June 2024.

Essential Qualifications:  A tertiary qualification in Science, Environmental Management or equivalent is essential. 

Special Conditions:

  • A current class “C” driver’s licence and willingness to drive is essential.
  • Some out of hours work may be required.
  • Intrastate travel including overnight absences may be required.
  • May be required to participate in fire management and associated duties.

Remuneration: PO1 $66,649 min – $81,142 max p.a.
