Offer Description
This research project is focused on the development of machine learning techniques for anomaly detection in time series data. In particular, we will focus on data from water distribution systems: the goal is to automatically detect new leaks so to prompt interventions aimed at reducing waste. After investigating the state of the art, we will focus on developing models specifically tailored to the data at hand, making use of the domain knowledge provided by colleagues from the Faculty of Science and Technology.
