Offer Description
Constructed wetland (CW) is a water treatment system that uses processes reproduced in artificial environments.
Reuse of wastewater in agriculture requires continuous quality monitoring. Most of the parameters are monitored
by taking samples from the constructed wetland and analyzing them in the laboratory. The development of sensors
that allow the determination of certain parameters could facilitate monitoring operations and save resources.
Since it is known that phytoremediation systems can be a source of gaseous emissions, their continuous
monitoring is important. The research fellow will have to assist the Di3A working group in carrying out research
activities consisting of monitoring CW systems and the development of sensors for the evaluation of gaseous
exchanges
