Internship on youth engagement in sustainable development

SEI Tallinn is looking for an intern to support researchers in its sustainable development programme in projects related to youth engagement and empowerment in the “green transition”.

Location: Tallinn, Estonia (working remotely is also possible)
Type of contract: Part- or full-time, 2 – 3 months
Deadline: 3 March 2023
Start date: ASAP
Language: English and knowledge of Estonian on a very good level (C1 or C2)
Funding: SEI Tallinn offers only unpaid internships.


  • Assisting experts with literature review on finding the best practices related to youth engagement
  • Assisting experts in preparing training material for young people in the following areas: circular economy, climate adaptation, sustainable water management, sustainable food systems
  • Assisting experts in tasks that ensure greater youth engagement in the green transition

Who are we looking for?

  • A person with educational background, strong interest or experience in working with young people and in one of the following areas: climate change adaptation, circular economy, sustainable water management and sustainable food systems
  • A person with very good oral and written skills in English and Estonian
  • Master’s and bachelor’s students are preferred
