Salary: £38,065 – £40,052 with excellent benefits

Hybrid Working: A minimum of 40% of working time is spent face to face, either in London office, or as a result of external engagement or travel for WaterAid. WaterAid is located at Canary Wharf, London and this will be your location and contract base. In order to apply for this post, you must be able to demonstrate your eligibility to work in the UK.

About the Team:

The WaterAid Digital Marketing and Product team vision is to create the best possible digital experience globally, to inspire and motivate people to support us financially and non-financially and to work closely with our colleagues across WaterAid and key external suppliers to achieve this.

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Digital Governance Manager to join our team at WaterAid. As our dedicated digital governance expert, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining a comprehensive digital governance framework for WaterAid’s global digital properties. You will ensure that all digital platforms and products are compliant with local relevant industry standards, global security protocols and accessibility requirements.

Working closely with the Digital Product Team and stakeholders throughout the organization, you will provide guidance and support to teams as they deliver on our new Global Strategy through various digital initiatives. You will be responsible for ensuring that websites, microsites and other consumer digital platforms are secure, compliant, and accessible, including email platforms, SaaS solutions, and third-party integrations.

About You:

We are looking for a conscientious digital and analytical thinker who will champion digital data protection, compliance, cyber security best practice and governance. You should be an expert in cyber security management and digital compliance and know how to share your expertise with teams. Working autonomously and with the support of the Digital Product Manager, you will develop and own the core cyber security and digital governance programme.

To be successful, you’ll need:

A track record in, and passion for, cyber security and digital best practice
Experience in developing processes, motivating others and driving change
Proven experience of platform management including websites and third-party solutions
Experience in supplier relationship management
