Position: Consultants- Coordinator (WASH)
Educational Qualification & Work Experience:
• Masters in social sciences, management studies, or equivalent.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Drinking Water, Sanitation and Hygiene
(WASH) sector. Experience of working in social sector in field of education would be preferred.
• Experience in working with rural and tribal communities in Maharashtra would be preferable.
Organization:Collective for Integrated Livelihood Initiatives – CInI, an organization registered under the Societies Act is an associate organization of Tata Trusts. CInI focuses in Promoting Sustainable Livelihoods of Tribal Communities in the Central Indian Tribal Belt. 1.Fluency in English and Marathi (preferably) and minimum Hindi
2.Ability to mentor and monitor team for impactful implementation of the program on the field and in building the team’s capacity towards expected goals of the program
3.Able to write narrative and financial reports as per the funder’s requirement, manage fund management tasks
4.Ability to work with government officials and making presentations of the work at the appropriate platforms
5.Ability to assess the progress of the program along with the team constructively and help the team plan and implement accordingly for bringing improvement.
CInI has established a program office for its various projects in Nandurbar district, Maharashtra and the state office of CInI is located in Shahada. CInI wishes to appoint a senior expert (WASH), who will be responsible for:
1.Acting as a focal point to ensure quality implementation and management of Integrated WASH project (Jaldhara) and its sub-programme-,MHM in Nandurbar;
2.Develop Project Implementation Plans (PIP) for WASH projects; periodic budgets / annual, quarterly and monthly work plans; quarterly /bi-annual/
annual progress reports and ensure submission to all donors / government
organisations / central teams adhering to timelines
3.Manage, monitor and support WASH programme interventions across assigned
geographies, and ensure its timely implementation complying with physical and financial targets as per the program design and WASH compliant norms;
4.Facilitate development and execution of Behavioral Change Communication (BCC)campaigns and guide and support the team to ensure engagement of community in participatory planning, implementation and monitoring of these interventions;
5.Ensure regular project level reviews and planning, Monitoring & Evaluation requirements such as Management Information System (MIS), outcomes survey, baseline and impact assessment;
6.Ensure process documentation, knowledge products, case studies to develop thematic library of the organization and subsequent submission to donor agencies;
7.Coordination and liason with all stakeholders like govt, Tata Trusts portfolios (TWM), other donors, vendors, experts etc.
8.State, District, Block and village level coordination for partnership with Government’s nodal departments for WASH and converge with existing schemes to leverage funds, including Swachh Bharat Mission (SBM), MGNREGA, Jal Jeevan Mission, Jal Swarajya, MJYS, etc.;
9.Facilitate visits of donors and central teams;
10.Any other role/function assigned by the Team Leader- CInI.
