Job Description Summary:

The Coca-Cola Company [NYSE: KO] (Company) is a total beverage company, offering over 500 brands in more than 200 countries and territories. The Company’s purpose is to “Refresh the world.  Make a difference”.  Our vision is to craft the brands and choice of drinks that people love, to refresh them in body & spirit. And done in ways that create a more sustainable business and better shared future that makes a difference in people’s lives, communities and our planet. Along with bottling partners, the Company employs more than 700,000 people, helping bring economic opportunity to local communities worldwide.

Established in 1984, The Coca-Cola Foundation (Foundation) is the Company’s primary philanthropic arm. It is a private foundation with a mission to give back and make a difference in the communities where the Company operates as a business, but also where the Company’s employees live and work. Since 1984, the Foundation has donated more than $1.4 billion to philanthropic programs worldwide. In 2021 alone, the Foundation contributed almost $110 million to approximately 350 organizations globally. The Foundation’s areas of giving include Sustainable Access to Safe Water, Circular Economy, Climate Resilience and Disaster Preparedness and Response, Economic Empowerment and the Employee Matching Gift Program.

The Senior Director, Sustainable Access to Safe Water, will lead a global portfolio of grant making. The goal of the Foundation’s Sustainable Access to Safe Water program is to advance solutions and innovations that provide and assure safely managed drinking water to those living in water stressed regions. In 2020, 2 billion people did not have access to safely managed drinking water, and 1.2 billion of those people lacked a basic level of service. Just as growing populations and urbanization are increasing the demand for water, climate change is further straining sustainable access to safe water creating challenges in urban, peri-urban, and rural communities across the world.
