Ph.D. student in hydroclimatology via AGU

The Department of Geography at Indiana University is seeking a Ph.D. student to begin in August 2017. The student will be a member of HydroClim (, a multi-institutional, NSF-funded project to simulate the effects of climate change and variability on hydrology and stream temperature throughout the United States. Responsibilities of this position include SWAT hydrologic and stream temperature modeling using downscaled global climate model output as input data. The position requires hydrological modeling experience along with strong English oral and written communication skills. Experience using climate data, computer programing (MATLAB, R, etc.), and Unix (Linux) computing environments are preferred.
