An exciting Senior Water Officer (Water Monitoring and Hydrography) position has come up in the South Region’s Water Monitoring team, located at Bundaberg.
Your opportunity is to lead one of South Region’s three regional monitoring teams that provide the hydrometric data relied on for informed decisions about the State’s water resources. Your team operates and maintains a network of remote surface and groundwater monitoring assets, planning, and conducting extensive fieldwork, then analysing, processing, and publishing the data produced to quality management standards.
You will contribute to regional business outcomes in cooperation with regional colleagues and Manager Monitoring, demonstrating strong leadership and positivity, teamwork, collaboration, technical aptitude, and uncompromising attention to safety.
