WWF is the world’s leading independent conservation organisation, with more than five million supporters and a global network active in more than one hundred countries. Through our engagement with the public, businesses and government, we focus on safeguarding the natural world, creating solutions to the most serious environmental issues facing our planet, so that people and nature thrive.  This is your chance to play your part.

An exciting opportunity has arisen in our water team to help us protect and restore UK rivers as the UK prepares to leave the EU.  We’re looking for an experienced individual to develop WWF UK’s water and agriculture expertise and identify opportunities to protect the environment as policy develops in relation to Brexit. You will develop our policy positions, and drive an influential programme advocacy, working alongside our Water Policy Manager to do so.

You will have the right knowledge and skillset to be able to make an impact by giving advice, managing projects and communicating with and convening stakeholders from government and across the food, farming and environmental sectors. You will need up-to-date knowledge of water and agriculture and the relevant laws or external developments that govern it. You should also have experience of bringing together a wide range of stakeholders, communicating effectively with them in order to broaden and develop key relationships.

If this sounds like the right role for you, please complete the online registration and submit a copy of your up to date CV and cover letter highlighting why you are interested in this role and why you are a suitable candidate.
