  • Hybrid office and work from home model (office location is negotiable, with multiple regional options available). Occasional travel to regional sites required.

Water Infrastructure division within the Department of Planning and Environment is currently to appoint a Senior Project Officer to assist with managing water infrastructure works programs interfaces and liaise with key stakeholders on individual projects in order to improve delivery of water infrastructure projects that achieve water security across NSW, drive economic growth in NSW economies, support towns and communities and enhance environmental outcomes

About the role

As Senior Project Officer, you will assist with managing Water Infrastructure NSW’s key projects and programs. The roles support, enable and advise the delivery of meaningful water strategy projects and programs.

You will be part of a high performing team with supportive leaders that provide opportunities for professional development and growth. The roles are fast-paced and challenging, with the ability to deliver genuine improvements within the organisation.

About You

To be successful in the role, you have capability and/or demonstrated experience in the following:

  • Program management, governance and project reporting
  • Excellent organisational, stakeholder, communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to consult, influence and negotiate with diverse stakeholders
  • Ability to collaborate and share information across teams and divisions
  • Ability to work in, and adapt to, an agile and rapidly changing environment
