The North East Catchment Management Authority (North East CMA) has positions available that focus on waterway health and recovery from natural disasters.

These positions are critical to addressing historical, current, and emerging issues across the catchment and to deliver positive environmental outcomes with communities, Traditional Owners/First Nations people, government agencies, not-for-profits, and other stakeholders. Additionally, these positions will:

  • Deliver waterway health and flood/bushfire recovery projects to improve waterway health outcomes in partnership with land managers
  • Support the development of future waterway projects in collaboration with stakeholders
  • Efficiently compile information required for corporate and project tracking systems and reporting
  • Actively support the community, partners, and local landholders to undertake on-ground and knowledge-building actions

These positions are full-time, fixed term until 30 June 2025 but we will consider part time arrangements. The salary package of $73,457.49 – $81,229.10 plus superannuation will be negotiated based on experience. North East CMA Offices are located in Tallangatta, Wangaratta and Wodonga. One of the positions will be focused on delivering programs in the Omeo area.
