1. Participate in training and other learning events and continuously strive to understand the true spirit of funding agency and build your expertise in grounding and disseminating it.
2. Make aware and educate all sections of watershed community adequately about the Funding Agency and build your rapport with them.
3. Organize, nurture and support Watershed Committee (WC), Self Help Groups (SHGs), User Groups (UGs) and other Community Based Organizations (CBOs) in all aspects. Establish and operationalize basic norms of the project such as equity, contribution, sharing, entitlement etc in participation and approval of WC and related CBOs.
2. Conducting participatory base-line surveys, trainings and capacity building activities.
3. Prepare Detailed Project Report (DPR) for the consideration of Gram Sabha through participatory planning methodology.
4. Establish the institutional base to implement plans for conservation, development and management of private and common watershed resources.
5. Monitoring, checking, assessing and undertaking physical verification and measurements of the work done.
6. Facilitating the development of livelihood opportunities for the landless and marginalized families.
7. Enhance the capacity base of watershed families and institutions to enhance and promote livelihoods.
8. Create local wage opportunities through watershed works and facilitate the watershed families in availing it.
9. Establish the institutional linkages of watershed community with other stakeholders.
10. Establish apex bodies of CBOs and producer’s/ people’s collectives.
11. Create and operationalize the Watershed Development Fund (WDF) as per the spirit of the guidelines.
12. Maintaining project accounts and arranging physical, financial and social audit of the work undertaken.
13. Setting up of suitable arrangements for post-project operation, maintenance and future development of the assets created during the project period.
14. Develop appropriate monitoring, evaluation and learning systems for implementation of the project
15. Document the good practices, case studies and other related aspects.
16. Support the team during their field visits, with all the required information and arrangements.
17. Prepare and submit timely reports.
18. Any other function, assigned to you by Social Action for Rural Development/Funding Agency
19. Training need assessment and organizing Training and Capacity Building of the Staffs on different spectrums.
20. Ensure regular handholding support to the staffs.
21. Any other function, assigned by SARDA.

• Master Degree in Agriculture/Forestry/ Fishery/Horticulture from reputed
• Minimum 3 year experience in the development sector
• Good Oral and Writing Skill in English and Hindi
• Ready to work in the Remote Areas
• Basic Computer Knowledge will be an added advantage
• Locals will be Preferred
• Educational Track Record must be Good
