Environmental Analyst (Peconic Estuary Program Coordination)

The New England Interstate Water Pollution Control Commission (NEIWPCC) is seeking an Environmental Analyst (EA) to work with New York State Department of Environmental Conversation’s Bureau of Marine Resources in East Setauket, NY to conduct activities associated with the Peconic Estuary Program. Will prepare and manage annual federal grant, tracking implementation of Comprehensive Conservation and Management Plan, Eelgrass Management Plan, and Habitat Restoration Plan. Manage databases and use GIS information.

The successful candidate will hold a master’s degree in biological sciences, including course work in coastal management, oceanography and marine ecology, fisheries management.
