Key Role:

Assist with organizing a major international competition to develop applications for remotely sensed Earth observations. Apply expertise in coordinating virtual events and competition winners’ trips. Apply expertise in working with diverse stakeholders spread across multiple locations. Work in a time-critical environment where punctuality and follow-through are prized. Resolve problems and find resources in unfamiliar environments independently. Work on a high-visibility project where following procedure and properly vetting materials such as communications are necessary. Use social media and troubleshoot technical aspects of telecommunications media, including webinars, video chat, and livestreaming. This position allows for remote delivery and requires the ability to travel up to 25% of the time.

Basic Qualifications:
-3+ years of experience with working in an international exchange programming or administrative environment

-Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel

-Experience with writing and editing

-Ability to conduct public speaking

-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with technical research

-Experience writing public communications materials

-Experience with website content management systems (CMS)

-Knowledge of satellite Earth observations, Earth science, or remote sensing

-Knowledge of remote sensing applications, sustainability issues, or international development

-Completion of graduate-level training with an international focus preferred
