About the Position
As a Technical Writer you would effectively develop, manage and maintain engineering technical publications and documents, including standing operating procedures, maintenance agreements, operation and maintenance manuals, technical procedures, construction specifications, and other engineering design and study reports by partnering with appropriate Subject Matter Experts. Assist the engineering departments by managing each technical document through its development life cycle including information gathering, content development, evaluation, production and implementation.
About the Qualifications
The successful candidate for this position will have:
• An Associate’s Degree(or higher) in construction, engineering technology, or related field
• Five (5) years of related experience working closely with technical documents typically used in industries such as design engineering, construction, field engineering, or plant operation in large power generation facilities, water pumping plant, utility plant, mining, or manufacturing
• Knowledge of concepts, principles, and procedures used in maintaining and controlling complex, enterprise-wide records management systems, including a thorough understanding of the issues associated with long-term retention of electronic records.
• A valid driver’s license with a good driving record
