- Application of digitalization methods and data science
- Decrease of energy consumption, consumption of resources, and CO₂ emissions within the area of geotechnical engineering
- Development of procedural solutions considering requirements in terms of sustainability, digitalization, and automation during planning and implementation of geotechnical measures
Our expectations
The successful candidate must represent the entire field of “Geomechanics and Geotechnical Engineering” in any related undergraduate (German language) and graduate courses in the Bachelor’s / Master’s programs “Civil Engineering”, “Environmental Engineering” and “Industrial Engineering, Study Course Civil Engineering” in German and English.
The willingness for interdisciplinary cooperation with other fields of the faculty, e.g. the field of numerical modeling or other research areas of civil and environmental engineering and environmental sciences is mandatory. Furthermore, active involvement in and contribution to the university’s core research area “Future City” is desired.
