Salary: INR 22 to 30 Lakhs gross  per annum

WSUP Advisory India is a as wholly-owned subsidiary of Water & Sanitation for the Urban Poor (WSUP) and has recently started a USAID-funded programme in India to provide technical support to USAID / Government of India knowledge partnership.

We are now seeking a Technical Manager for this programme to be based in Delhi, with travel to Visakhapatnam, Vijayawada and other parts of India from time to time. WSUP Advisory UK together with its Indian entity contributes to specialist technical assistance in addressing the challenges of providing WASH services to low income consumers across the developing world. WSUP Advisory empowers local service providers to provide sustainable, market-based water and sanitation services and promotes good hygiene to bring lasting improvements to the lives of the urban poor.

Key responsibilities include the oversight of the technical aspects of the programme and implementation of the workplan, collaborating with funders USAID and government partners, facilitating capacity building at national, state and urban level, as well as budget management. The postholder will be a graduate engineer with experience of WASH in low income urban communities in India and experienced of managing and monitoring multi-year programmes. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential. The role will suit someone who is able to work in a team environment as well as independently.
