Role overview

Natural Resources Management Advisor role will be to build capacity of district planners and 10 Village Natural resources Committees in Salima District to use Scenario planning in the Integrated water resource management activities within the district. The candidate should have at list a Bachelors Degree in Environmental Science or closely related fields with 3 years experience in a similar role. The candidate should have a valid motor cycle license (or willing to learn) and should be prepared to stay at a local district with moderate facilities. The candidate should have some computer skills as he/she will be expected to produce electronic reports and write emails to VSO office and partners.

Skills, qualifications and experience

Natural Resource Management Advisor will work hand in hand with District Council planners to implement MAJI project which uses scenario planning in Integrated Water resource management systems.
