  • Location: East Melbourne The Hydrology & Climate Science team acts as a knowledge broker for the Victorian Water Sector in the areas of for climate change, climate variability, hydrology, and land use change risks to water availability.

An exciting opportunity exists to join a vibrant team in the Hydrology & Climate Science space. As a Senior Project Officer, you will lead, and project manage a number of complex water related research projects on climate change, climate variability, hydrology, catchment processes, and the impact of water intercepting activities on water activities. You will represent DELWP on a number of governance committees and other forums, providing specialist professional services or advise, leadership and guidance to other specialists in the field.

The successful candidate will possess tertiary qualifications in science, engineering, natural resource management or other relevant disciplines that relate to climate science and/or water resources. Previous water sector experience will be highly regarded along with an ability to develop and maintain collaborative working relationships with stakeholders.
