Intern (Environmental Department)
The intern will focus on research and analysis of environmental effects in several areas including: water, energy efficiency, transportation, storm water management, solid waste, air quality and clean energy.
Duties will include researching best practices and performance indicators to assist the Environmental Department monitor and evaluate systems on topics such as: How to target projects in communities with the most need and what kind of projects are most required in the border region?
The individual will gain experience in the relationship of social needs with environmental issues.
This is a great opportunity to learn about the challenges and objectives of targeting environmental objectives in a binational institution.
The intern will have a 3-month plan and objective for the internship period.
* Proficiency in MS Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
* Intermediate to advanced knowledge in Excel is strongly preferred.
* Desired GIS experience and/or ArcMap experience.
