Position Information


**This is a 1 year limited term position, continued employment is contingent on availability of funding.** 

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Assist planning, maintaining or completing programs and/or projects in watershed management. Requires fundamental research/ scientific knowledge skills and abilities on relevant policies, procedures, regulations and laws. Prepare plans, reports and results for publication or presentation at public meetings, conferences and for agency review.  

Minimum Qualifications

Entry into the applicant pool requires a Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in Environmental Sciences, Soils, or closely related field. 

Excellent organizational skills for support in developing plans, documentation and information synthesis, demonstrated technical writing experience, and ability to work independently. Must be able to work outside in unfavorable conditions.

Desired Qualifications

Experience and knowledge of National Environmental Planning Act and watershed planning; proficiency in word processing and spreadsheet software.
