As a part of our team, the Civil Associate will assist Project Engineers with tasks appropriate for a junior engineer, including hydrologic and hydraulic analysis, CAD drafting, data review, field inspections, and BMP sizing calculations.
•The majority of your day would be spent on a team performing various tasks related to design and analysis for flood control and water quality work.
•Work with Project Engineers and Managers who will guide you in the navigation of local engineering standards and development of client deliverables which may include but are not limited to plan sets, technical reports, and engineering models.
•Participate in a multi-disciplinary team among field staff, office staff, our clients, and other parties such as regulators and suppliers.
•Receive mentoring and training that will expand your skill set as you work toward becoming a licensed civil engineer.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineer, or equivalent work experience.
•Excellent English language skills, both written and verbal.
•Proficient in basic computer software, such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint). Experience in AutoCAD, ArcGIS, or H&H modeling software is a plus.
•Related coursework or previous work experience in hydrology, hydraulics, water quality analysis, or site/civil design is a plus.
