Glenville State College is seeking applicants for a tenure-track appointment in Natural Resource Management beginning August 2019. Faculty responsibilities include teaching, advising students, participating in departmental and college service activities, involvement in recruitment and retention activities, and ongoing professional development. Individuals with interest in or expertise in curriculum innovation as well as commitment to teaching and scholarly excellence in their specialties are encouraged to apply. Expertise in instructional technology is desirable for all faculty positions.
EXAMPLES OF DUTIES:
The successful applicant will teach courses and labs, such as environmental science, forest ecology, environmental compliance, solid waste management, land reclamation, wildlife management and air/soil/water quality. Occupational experience in natural resources and prior teaching experience at the post-secondary level desired. Education and/or experience in the area of environmental science, wildlife, and natural resource management a plus.
Applicants with a doctorate degree preferred, but candidates with ABD will be considered.
