Job Description

The Energy, Resources and Environment Branch is searching for an enthusiastic Senior Policy Adviser to join the team. 

This is an excellent opportunity for a strategic, analytical thinker who is a strong collaborator and can lead policy development in a complex and fast paced environment.

The branch is responsible for advising the Premier on energy, earth resources, environment, climate change, agriculture and water matters. The branch provides policy leadership, oversight and advice on the development and delivery of major reforms.

In this role you will provide authoritative and timely advice to the Premier and senior executives, help shape strategic policy development, coordinate with stakeholders across government, and brief on Cabinet and State Budget submissions. The role requires excellent communication skills, an ability to deliver under pressure, and adaptability in the face of changing priorities.
