Capital Projects Intern
The Mississippi Watershed Management Organization is seeking a Capital Projects Intern. This position will provide assistance to MWMO engineers, landscape architects and monitoring staff to meet the needs of the MWMO’s Capital Projects activity area.
These functions include, but are not limited to:
- Performing field observations of stormwater best management practices (BMPs) to assess performance;
- Performing field observations and hydrologic monitoring in support of MWMO capital project planning;
- Using calculators to estimate the anticipated effectiveness of MWMO-funded BMPs; and
- Assisting with other activity areas, as needed, and assigned by the Projects and Outreach Director.

The internship will be up to 10 hours per week in the spring and 40 hours per week in the summer.
