This role would be supporting Nature4Climate – a TNC-led initiative with 19 participating organizations*, collaborating to increase investment in and action on nature-based solutions (NbS). The Nature4Climate Project Coordinator will implement project plans and strategies by providing general administrative, communications and programmatic support for the Nature4Climate coalition. They are expected to work closely with the Advocacy and Partnerships Manager on establishing and maintaining relationships with external stakeholders which could include agencies, other NGO representatives, consultants, government officials, and business representatives. They are responsible for tracking results of program initiatives and reports findings to project leads and directors. The coordinator will help facilitate and organize on-going engagement between all parts of the globally dispersed Nature4Climate coalition, internal and external stakeholders, donors, volunteers, vendors, and business relations. They will communicate or distribute information to assist staff in making decisions, solving problems, and improving workflow. The individual should be a highly motivated self-starter, with a genuine interest in working for a nature-positive future.

Please note that this is a 12-month contract with potential for extension.

  • Act independently within broad program goals to prioritize tasks in the absence of specific instructions and exercise independent judgment to identify and solve problems
  • Manage and/or track project timelines, tasks and deliverables, and take on special projects
  • Performs analysis, research and follow-through
  • Demonstrate sensitivity in handling confidential information
  • Work within scope of program’s strategic goals
  • Project support including coordinating external stakeholders and internal resources to deliver successful projects
  • Ensure compliance with Conservancy policies and procedures, and external (donor/legal/IRS) requirements
  • Provides all-round event management support for campaign milestone moments


  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Experience in supporting the delivery of large-scale campaigns and projects, related to climate change and/or nature conservation
  • Experience coordinating administrative processes
  • Experience generating reports and interpreting data
  • Experience in business writing, editing, and proofreading
  • Analytical skills experience, with an ability to understand and interpret various outcomes in complex situations
  • Experience working across teams and communicating with a wide range of people


  • Experience in digital and social media
  • Multi-lingual skills appreciated.
  • Experience with communicating with senior or C-suite level staff
  • Multi-cultural or cross-cultural experience preferred.
  • Past experience working for environmental NGO, Government or UN Agency is desirable.
  • Excellent writing, presentation, communication skills.
  • Familiarity with communication technologies and best practices. 
  • Experience providing customer service for client relationships.


Salary Range: 35,000-40,000 GBP
