IWMI is looking for a vendor with previous experience with farm data collection in rural areas of Jordan.

The main assignment of the data collection vendor is to implement a study of 500 farms in Azraq and Mafraq. In Azraq 210 farms and in Mafraq 290 farms will be studied.

The study design, sample design and the content of questionnaire will be developed by IWMI. However, the vendor will be encouraged to provide inputs and feedback based on their experience.

The vendor will ideally already have conducted surveys that are similar in context and will have an established team of field enumerators or should be able to hire enumerators with required skills.

The vendor will nominate one coordinator to interact with IWMI and to lead the work from the vendor side. The coordinator will have implemented previous surveys as a team leader; s/he will be able to train the enumerators, to lead the surveys in the field and to coordinate the data entry. This coordinator should be able to communicate fluently in English, along with Arabic. Apart from the coordinator, the vendor will nominate supervisors and staff for the surveys.
