Overview

World Wildlife Fund (WWF), the world’s leading conservation organization, seeks a paid Freshwater and Protein Intern.

Responsibilities

Internship Description:

Freshwater (50%)

  • Administrative support and coordination for
    • Free Flowing Rivers Initiative
    • North American Rivers
  • Supporting special projects as assigned
  • Research
  • Communications support and coordination
  • Other duties as needed

Rockefeller (50%)

  • Logistics and event planning for three meetings of international subject-matter experts
  • Scheduling meetings and calls with internal and external participants
  • Taking notes in calls and meetings
  • Small-scale research projects
  • Database and drive management

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • Full-time position: 35 hours per week
  • Experience with administrative support and program coordination
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite
  • Excellent research skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Organized and efficient
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects
