We are looking for an Events Manager to work collaboratively with the British Water team, members and key partners to deliver British Events.

Main Purpose of Job:

The Event Manager is responsible for the end-to-end management and delivery of BW’s online and in-person events which include receptions, conferences, seminars and meetings.

Reporting to:
The Chief Executive (CE)

Location: The BW Team is currently working remotely. This role is UK based and you will be expected to travel in the UK for up to two days at a time as well as visit the London office in Vauxhall (Vox Studios, V124, 1-45 Durham Street, SE11 5JH) as and when required. Travel overseas is not currently required.

This is a full time, permanent position. A probation period of 6 months will be required.

Responsible for:
The Event Manager is responsible for delivering a range of events including the House of Lords Winter Reception, Data Conference, Women on Water conference and reception, Annual Lunch & AGM.
Success in this role rests on the ability to multi-task, manage workflows and budgets and engage with a variety of key stakeholders. The purpose of these events is to raise the profile of BW and its members, facilitate networking opportunities and business growth for our members, promote best practice and deliver key messages on behalf of the industry. It is the Event Manager’s responsibility to ensure the portfolio of events creates excellent experiences for speakers, sponsors and attendees.
The responsibility for coming up with new event opportunities and ideas is shared with the Executive Team and CE.
