This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and driven senior water professional to lead, identify and pursue opportunities for our Water team in New Zealand. The role is intended to be primarily based in Auckland with travel as required to other offices across New Zealand. However, we would consider a Christchurch base for the right candidate. You will be responsible for developing business strategy, identifying new business opportunities, growing and developing the capability of our well established team and delivering consultancy expertise to your own client base.
Our multidisciplinary water team is made up of specialist science and environmental professionals dedicated to delivering sustainable solutions in water resource management. We are driven by technical excellence, delivering exceptional consultancy water services across the three waters, groundwater and surface water, hydrology and water quality.
Reporting to the Managing Director, you will be instrumental in strengthening the water team and will support and manage water related projects across New Zealand. Your exceptional people management skills, industry knowledge accompanied with you being an expert in your field will make you an ideal leader for the team.
You will be a positive, outgoing and driven individual with a passion to succeed. Degree qualified, you will have excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to liaise with a diverse group of people. You will have proven yourself to be highly successful in a similar leadership role with significant proven technical experience, preferably in water quality and stormwater.
