Environmental Compliance Expert
Project Description: The Agribusiness Competitiveness Activity in Tajikistan (ACAT) is a five-year, $18.6 million project funded by the U.S. Agency for International Development. The activity will implement a market-driven approach, led by the private sector, to stimulate economic growth, increase employment and improve livelihoods by enhancing the competitiveness of Tajikistan’s agribusinesses in dairy and horticulture.
Winrock International is looking experts with the following experience:
1. Develop an activity-specific Environmental Manual (EM) and Framework Environmental Mitigation and Monitoring Plan meeting compliance standards for USAID.
2. Review the existing programmatic PERSUAP (P-PERSUAP) for all USAID activities and develop an updated P-PERSUAP or new programmatic PERSUAP in close consultation and cooperation with the field technical team, relevant implementation partners, and USAID, taking into consideration feedback and guidance received from key stakeholders.
