The Resilience Management & Governance Team is looking for a researcher with knowledge of water governance in order to strengthen the team. Do you enjoy working with other professionals and are you looking for continuous personal development? If so, then we’d like to hear from you.

We are looking for a social science researcher who will contribute substantively and methodologically to our governance research. You will have knowledge of social and administrative processes (preferably) in the water sector and you will know how to clearly convey that knowledge to others.

Additionally, you will:

  • be a university graduate in a social science, for example public administration, and you will preferably have a doctoral degree;
  • have knowledge and experience, both qualitatively and quantitatively, of social science research techniques and methods;
  • have several years’ experience as a researcher, policy officer or consultant.

The team and the job

The Resilience Management & Governance Team is working on developing a resilient, urban water cycle. We develop knowledge about integrated, participative, adaptive and anticipative governance processes. Our team consists of nine inspired researchers with a variety of backgrounds and experience. We work together on our objectives in an open, friendly and constructive atmosphere.

Within our team you will be working on interdisciplinary subjects, such as collaboration with stakeholders in area processes, strategies for climate adaptation, citizen participation and involvement and the distribution of value between sectors in the circular economy. You will implement projects independently and you will contribute to the execution and expansion of our international activities. Furthermore, you will also be capable of acquiring contracts.
