Flexible working will be actively considered

The River Restoration Centre (RRC) is looking for someone who can drive forward excellence in the field of river restoration. You will be leading a team advising on the restoration of natural processes and habitat, floodplain reconnection, NFM, etc. Work will be locally and nationally, in the UK and Ireland at the interface between practice, science and policy.

About the Role

RRC is looking for an experienced individual to become part of the senior management team and manage and deliver expert technical advice, reports, guidance, assessments and training to a broad range of statutory agency, public, private and third sector organisations. You will manage the project team resources and have responsibility for delivery of the technical team workload. Line management and staff development/coaching experience would be desirable. You will be able to quickly integrate into a small busy team of highly motivated individuals sharing a common purpose and values: understanding river form and function, restoring natural processes, communicating evidence-based knowledge and sharing best practice.
